It has been said by many sources, that their very likely might be no GG or KO next season, so if GG is to leave, who do you guys want. I for one ay that if GG leaves, then Richard Peddie (our Pres) should leave too. He has screwed us a lot. Last year on raptors TV after the season had ended Glen and Richard were on a call in show. A caller asked Glen if he was going to try to resign Rafer, then Glen stated that he had not had any formal talks with him as of yet. Richard then jumped in stating ?Why would we want to keep a player because the fans like him when all he does it turn the ball over the fans want to see wins and not players?. I knew right then that Richard had more of a say in things then most thought. So he thinks Milt turns the ball over less that Rafer, interesting. I think we need to look for Richards fingerprints on some of these bad moves. I'm sure they're there. If GG is removed as a GM I think he should remain as our cap manager. Possible GM's to look at: Magic Johnson?, Kevin Johnson (mentioned them as coaches too but) I think we should really look into getting a young smart GM, because teams that are doing that really seem to thrive (in Baseball, and San Antonio). We can look in to getting San Antonio's GM, but they aren't just going to let him go. He's the Director of Player Personnel for the Spurs. He designed and implemented the Spurs scouting database and we know how well that worked out. He has a bachelor's degree in Communications, Politics and Law - all skills that are critical for successful NBA GMs. He's also only 27 years old.
Im not sure .... I think getting a young smart GM is the best solution too but its easer to say than to act. No Magic Johnson, a pity that I dont know much about other teams GMs
MLSE should hire Beeston <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Since Richard Peddie took over as president of the Raptors in 1996, the only constant has been chaos. Never has a coach reached the end of his contract without being done in by discord. Only once has a season ended on anything resembling a high note.</div>
