Great preview. Can't blame you for the safe predictions; I want Kidd averaging 15 assists per game. Another big factor this season is going to be how well the bench is going to play. Will we see an inexperienced bench or an energetic productive bench. Certainly the aquisition of Mikki Moore will bring some energy.

A 50 win season isn't far fetched. The Nets are right up there with Miami and Cleveland. A big factor is how Carter will play this season. If he chooses to win, rather than thinking about his contract, the Nets will be tough to beat. Kidd has been a big influence on Carter, and hopefully they can build on that. Krstic must be consistent through out the season and hopefully the bench will do the same. As long as everyone is healthy and personal issues aside, the Nets will be cinch to be in the East Finals, at least.

What I'm saying is, he should just play to win regardless of his contract. At the end of the season, all the hard work will pay off.
