(5-9) vs (5-8) Streak Nets: Lost 6 Celtics: Won 1 Last Result Nets: Bobcats 96 @ Nets 92 Celtics: Celtics 111 @ Bucks 98 <div align="center"><font size=""2"">Starting Lineup</font> <font size=""2""><u>Stat Leaders</u> Points Carter 27.1 Rebounds Kidd 8.2 Assists Kidd 9.2</font> Starting Lineup <font size=""2""><u>Stat Leaders</u> Points Pierce 27.2 Rebounds Pierce 9.0 Assists Telfair 4.4</font></div> <u>Nets' Keys to Victory</u> Get the Offensive Going- Some of the main problems and reasons for 6 straight losses, have been offensive problems. We are unable to score at times, when we are desperate, and we rely on Carter too much. He is a great offensive player but he can't make every shot. That's why Krstic, RJ,Kidd or even bench players have to bring more offense. Enough Mistakes Pt2- I have mentioned before that the Nets make to many mistakes, and that still doesn't change. We might give stupid fouls, and get unneccessary turnovers. All that needs to change, and the Nets need to mold back into an elite team. How about a win guys?
Yea, I still think marcus is dribbling to much, Adams is playing well also, im glad collins got those early fouls so he could get some minutes
down by 1, adams is straight up ballin, anyways it sucks that we have so many wing players when house comes back its gunna be hard getting house, wright, adams, and williams time
its about time, and its against the atlantic division leading celtics anyways ill leave the stats up to kidd
Finally the Nets win a game. It wasn't exactly a beauty either. We had our problems in the second half, but Carter and the others really stepped it up in the 4th. Carter really got aggressive which is always a positive. Let's hope this leads to more win. And Hassan needs more mins. He's a great player Kidd 19 pts 8 rebs 9 asts Carter 23 pts 9 rebs 6 asts Jefferson 18 pts 3 rebs Krstic 15 pts 6 rebs Williams 8 pts 7 asts Adams 16 pts 8 rebs Rest of Boxscore <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">anyways ill leave the stats up to kidd</div> Always happy to provide them.
Yea Kidd set the tempo toward the end of the third, and at the start of the fourth the rest of the team followed. Maybe after this game Adams will get some more minutes and eventually start.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Maybe after this game Adams will get some more minutes and eventually start.</div> Over who? Unless Jefferson moves to PF, and Hassan plays SF, I don't see it happening.
<div class="quote_poster">Kidd Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Over who? Unless Jefferson moves to PF, and Hassan plays SF, I don't see it happening.</div> carter playing sf.... i personally would liek it, cause collins isnt GOOD
I just don't think playing small is a good idea. We will get slaughtered by teams like San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Miami, etc. We have the 1,2,3 positions locked. We have to toughen up inside more.
<div class="quote_poster">Kidd Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Over who? Unless Jefferson moves to PF, and Hassan plays SF, I don't see it happening.</div> We could play small seems popular lately, Collins doesnt bring anything but defense, and it hasnt been great lately. So I was thinking PG kidd sg vince sf RJ PF adams C kristic, but this is all theory because he has to continue to show he can keep playing the way he did to even get a chance.
He played pf against the suns, and last night. There were no other bigmen in the game and the only time you see him getting any minutes is when collins or kristic is in foul trouble. He is around the same weight as RJ, and he plays well around the basket. It doesnt really matter you could put him at SF and RJ at PF. He seems to do good under the basket as well.
A positive showing of Hassan Adams. He really played big during the stretch. He needs more minutes. The whole team played good and in the end we were the better teams. Thanks God we finally won.
