Ooooh man. Nets pregame is on. They're talking about how Kidd was the face of the franchise, etc....the financial/player flexibility created, Devin Harris w/ his injury, the fact that NJ could still potentially make the playoffs, that we're not exactly rebuilding... And now they're comparing Devin and Kidd. They're saying Devin's impact on Dallas is shown by how Dallas has been without him (a lot worse). They're saying that Devin is not as good as Kidd right now, but he has the potential to be really good. They talked about Devin's defense, saying it was good. They talked about the PG situation. About how they "traded a franchise point guard for another franchise point guard"....which means they're pretty much saying to Marcus "you're not the franchise point guard." Blah blah blah, expiring contracts, Jerry Stackhouse...Desagana Diop could make an impact, Dallas will miss him, Nets could package him in a trade for someone else, he fell outta favor, Bass has been playing instead, Diop has the end of the season to show Thorn he should be re-signed, blah blah blah Very interesting pre-game show. Ah, and to add - Jason Kidd's legacy (paraphrasing): No one has made the impact Kidd has on this franchise (Erving?)

TO fans booing Carter as soon as he touches the ball, cheering as soon as he misses. Boone's defense is great so far, despite Bosh scoring (that was a good move by Bosh). Vince scored! HA! We're just getting started. I pretty much expected an EXTREMELY slow start. I'm just not sure we can recover from it.
Williams rebounding. The next Jason Kidd? I hate the offense we're playing right now. It's like, give to RJ and Vince every time, and hope they can do something with it. WTF. I felt better with Boone and Krstic getting the ball down low (even if Nads did miss it). Our defense is godawful. And Marcus isn't even doing anything at all so far. Except bringing the ball up the court. What the hell is the point of having him out there? Oh yeah, and RJ is sucking.
