Pierce and Walker are laready a much better duo than anyone the Nets have and if Kidd made them RUN Pierce would win a scoring title and all the roleplayers would suddenly become respectable. im sure Kidd has nothing against boston. u cant get that mad at them for chanting wife beater. i mean, he beat his wife. they didnt even invent the chant Phoenix did when kidd beat the crap out of his wife. where did the celtics-kidd thing come from? if anything, kidd is going to go to the spurs. the way they are playing, having kidd at shooting guard might help. with speedy and tony and kidd at point, they are invincible.
Kidd is not what they need, they already have one of the top 5 pg's in the league, he is young and still improving and they have much bigger needs. Adding Jermaine O'neal would be a better idea. Even adding Lamar Odom and PJ Brown would be more helpful than adding Kidd.

I am a part of the "Jason Kidd fanbase" and I live all the way in Memphis. I know at least thirty people who live in Jersey who can't afford Nets tickets all the time, but they are HUGE Kidd fans. Kidd is not all about the money either. You act like he is a piece of trash when he has been better than both Pierce and Walker every year of their career. He could have had a lot more money than he is making when he signed on with the Suns, but money is not important to him. He doesn't need the MAX and a seven year deal, but he will probably get it, and Boston isn't only the team who can offer it. Infact, Boston can't even offer it. The nets are about to go to the finasls cause of him. without him theyll be a last place team. I dont hate kidd. I dont go to games to chant things at peope. In a recent interview kidd said "if if i had to bet..i will be playing in new jersey next season" Boston would be the worst possible place for him to go..more so for his wife and son

If kidd wants to play infront of fans and have a great shot at the title...he should come to detroit..we have the best number of fans in the league...we fill out the palace every game..and if kidd wants to play with maybe bosh,melo or whoever we get....he should come here..and we don't shout wife beater either...thats just shown no class when fans do that
