I do not have time to make a preview so just talk about the game here. It is at 1:00 PM eastern on Sunday the 12th. Washington is coming off of a win at New Orleans and Kwame Brown is coming off of a 1 game suspension. I think Arenas and David Wesley will be keys for their respective teams. I think Washington will pull this one out being at home and imrpove to 12-6.

Something I don't understand is why in this earth is NO staying with us. This should be a blowout by the Wiz. Hell, NO has won one game and with ~2:00 mins left in the 2nd quarter the game is 34-33 washington. I don't know why but it seems teams like to come out of a funk with the Wiz.

Kwame got 6 shots, in 20 minutes. I think we will see him in the starting lineup soon enouhg. Haywood is the reason we won this game, he has been our unsung hero all year with 17 pts today. Jamison threw in 17, Arenas with 16, 6 boards, 6 assists, and 6 steals. Nice win by the Wizard, time for our road trip...

Kwame starting? Not 'till January. I hate to Kwame bash, because I think he has major offensive potential. But watching him lately - his defense is horrible. And I mean HORRIBLE. The Wizards aren't offensively challenged right now - but they are defensively. I say Kwame doesn't (or shouldn't) start until the Wizards, and Kwame, get their defense running.

Well I am basing my guess off of washingtonpost.com, they had an article up saying he would start today. I think he will be starting sooner than we think, but you would know more than me because you get to watch the games, i just go by the realgm boards, the internet, and the little media attention they get.

Well that's why I added in my "shouldn't" thing at the last minute. He still needs much more playing time, and needs to adjust defensively. From what I saw in the NOH game, he didn't look good at all defensively, playing horrible help defense. And in the little he played in Denver it was the same story - in fact, the suspension reportedly stemmed from EJ yelling at him about defense.

Well Kwame has always been bad on help defense, last year he was praised for his man d and his help D was weak. I just hope he can get back into the D form of last year, he was our best post defender last year IMO.

I'm glad they got their heads on straight and blew them out. My high school team could have beat those hornets that are playing like they are right now.

Took awhile for me to get this up but here you go:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 (Ticker) -- A big second half from Larry Hughes, coupled with too many mistakes, sealed a familiar fate for the New Orleans Hornets.

Hughes scored all of his 15 points in the second half, and the Hornets were guilty of an NBA season-high 33 turnovers as the Washington Wizards coasted to an 88-69 victory.</div>
