This is from a post I made from another thread in the Clipper forum...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3. Sign a veteran point guard... The elder point guard will be a tutor as well as insurance for # 1...there's Jacque Vaughn, Avery Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Rod Strickland, Brevin Knight, just to name a few potiential names...a lot of these names are very dependant on the state of the clippers...</div>

They should also add Charlie Ward to that list. Also what's Pooh Richardson up to these days? The Clippers haven't had a solid PG for many seasons, and I don't see them getting one anytime soon. Dunleavy likes building his team with versatile players and usually has an 'untraditional' team out on the court. I'm almost positive the Clippers will stick with Jaric for another season before they consider making a move to fill the void at PG. This could all change however, if Telfair declares, it's already been reported the Clippers are high on him and would like to take him if he's available.
