The SKINS just signed BRUNNELL to a 7 year deal. What do you think they will do with RAMSEY now? I hope GIBBS knows what he is doing, starting a QB contriversy early. Good luck.

I'm not sure i agree with the idea of changing Qb's. I think Joe Gibbs coming back to the Redskins was a great idea but i realy think Patrick Ramsey is the future for Washington. Mark Brunell will probably do ok but Patrick is going to be a great qb if he has the protection he needs. He would have been great last season if they had some guys to block for him. I was realy disappointed when i heard that Joe was persuing another qb.

Horrible move IMO. Brunell hasn't looked good for a few years now. Why take the job from ramsey and give all that money to an aging QB. It just doesn't make senes.

Brunell will have a great year. Washington just got a LOT better.

I' m not so sure PACK, will RAMSEY be happy and content with sitting on the bench and waiting for his oppurtunity to play again? I just don't know if this was a good move for the SKINS or not.

If they make the deal for Portis or Shaun Alexander then maybe Brunell stands a chance in Washington but with the talant they have right know I just don't see it happening.

If the SKINS do get PORTIS, which they say is about a done deal already, then this may be a team to look out for in the upcoming season. Of course my BEARS play them. GIBBS may have a mastermind plan going here but will it backfire on him?

They definitely are going to be a team to watch the question is do they have the O-line to get it done and do they have enough defense without champ. They still are probably a year away from being a balanced team.

Definitely a scary team in the making. An couple D-lineman, a solid corner, and an O-lineman away from being a real contender.

With the addition of Portis our offense will be good. I think that we're better off just keeping Ramsey, but we could be in the playoffs this year.

Welcome Sportsrock37. It still puzzles me why the 'Skins let Davis walk, but it looks like they found themselves a new gamebreaker. I'm just glad he will be rolling up 200-yard games on somebody else twice a year now. My Chiefs' defensive ranking may have just moved up five or six slots!

Can that below average offensive line protect Portis & keep him healthy? I guess the same question could be asked about Brunell. I'll be curious to see what Gibbs has up his sleeve for protecting those guys.
