<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SALT LAKE CITY - Things sure have changed for the Utah Jazz. Never mind that the only place you will read the phrase "Stockton to Malone" anymore is on the signage for the car dealership owned by the former Jazz stars, John Stockton and Karl Malone. Malone finally made good on years of threats and left for Los Angeles after 18 seasons in Utah. Stockton retired after 19 years in the league, all with the Jazz. A rail-thin Russian, Andrei Kirilenko, has replaced Malone at power forward. Puerto Rican-born Carlos Arroyo is the point guard, although he is questionable because of an ankle sprain for tonight's game against the Suns at the Delta Center.</div> http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/1105suns1105.html
Good article, I thought the Jazz could of been a lot more prepared for the inevitable (Stockton and Malone leaving). But even with a sub par team, if you've got Jerry Sloan as coach, it wont matter. He gets everyone to hustle and bring energy as we are seeing with the young Utah team most thougt could do nothing.
