Looks better than the old one, but the pure white on red just seems a little.....tacky, I don't know. Like, why is the number outlined in black but the "Portland" isn't?
The white makes the Jersey "pop" a bit more than than all red and black version from last season. I love it.
It’s an improvement on the last ones. I like the white stripe to make the black look less like a skid mark across the torso.
It seems lazy, and the fact that Nike basically releases 2-3 New Jersey’s for each team every year seems like a deliberate cash grab to me. It’s just tacky.
Looks like the previous Statement jersey merged with last year's Earned uni ... speaking of Earned, Portland should be unveiling that jersey around December if the same timeline from last season is kept in tact.
