I saw this in Chuck Swirsky's column on raptors.com:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Indiana might be losing Reggie Miller, but they're getting new uniforms. Apparently the pinstripes will stay. That's a shame. The stripes belong only on baseball uniforms. In fact, in my world only one MLB team should be allowed to wear pinstripes. You know that club</div>

That's the only part of the column that says anything about the jerseys. They will also get a new logo. I did a little googling and I read that the Pistons, coincidently, will reveal a new logo as well. Apparently, both teams will introduce them on draft day. I'm not sure if the Pistons will get a threads, considering they just got some a few years. They shouldn't anyways, because their current jerseys are sick.

Anyways, Reggie goes, as does the logo and the jerseys. Maybe this is some sort of "new era" thing where Jermaine O'Neal is officially labeled as the franchise player (although he was about 3 years ago).

That sounds as the only logical reason. Let the post-Reggie era begin!
