I'd like them better if the sleeves weren't white. It doesn't look so bad on the long sleeve shirt, but the short sleeve one just doesn't do it for me.
2 things I hate about soccer, the sponsers are too prominent and the player's shoes never match! I love these uni designs though!
That's my question too. I understand the necessity of sponsors, these teams probably don't make a ton of money right off the bat. Is it common place for the sponsor to be the biggest and most recognizable and noticeable feature? As for the "kits", they seem kind of generic.
The kits, shirts jerseys or whatever almost always have "kit sponsors", and always takes the most prominent on the kit, jersey, shirt or whatever. The NBA will have them someday. This old Montreal Impact kit is an exception though:
Considering it is different from it actually happening. In fact, I think them considering it, and deciding against it, is a good indicator that it probably won't happen.
while you are correct that it is different. But them considering it before there was any economic trouble would lead me to believe the chances are even better of it happening now with bad economic times. Of course I have no insider information or anything though, just my thoughts
The NBA recently started allowing ads on practice jerseys. It's coming, don't fight it, it is a losing battle.
I hate the sponsor being so predominate, but I do know that it's a soccer thing. And I'd agree, the NBA will likely do the same thing one day. With that said, I think the Timbers jerseys (I'll never call them "Kits") are pretty dope!
No you assface, when these fools where LimeGreen shoes when there team colors are blue and white or orange shoes when there colors are green and yellow.
