<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Vikings | Team changing uniformsTue, 14 Mar 2006 19:46:00 -0800Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings will be wearing new uniforms for the 2006 season. Steve LaCroix, Vikings vice president of sales and marketing, confirmed the uniform change, although he declined to say to what extent. "We are working with the NFL and Reebok on some exciting changes for the 2006 season. The process is still continuing, but we'll look to have an unveiling later in the offseason for our fans," he said.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl
Maybe they will also go for a badass logo like the Cards tried to do...A Viking with a fat blunt in his mouth... you know, something along those lines

They need to make one with Purple jerseys and gold pants.EDIT: WHY DID I CAPITALIZE THE P IN PURPLE?????!

"I don't think the changes take away from our traditional standards. I'll leave it up to the fans, but this is something we feel will give us a little more excitement."(unrelated info regarding the offer to Burleson snipped)? Wilf didn't want to get into specifics regarding the uniform changes, but he said the helmet has been subtly altered. "Same helmet, same horn," he said. "The horn is just accentuated a little to give it a three-dimensional look.</div>
I'm personally pretty excited about this. Zygi said that they will keep the horn on the helmet only update it a little bit. IMO taking the horn off of the helmet would be the worst decision possible. The last uni's weren't too bad. You guys make them out to seem like the cardinals old ones with the crazy socks. They weren't bad...Purple pants might look cool. I'm still a little skeptical but they might look good with white jerseys. Someone in the organization said they will look like a mix between Denver and San Diego's jerseys.
