    Awful pitch selection on 0-2 and Alonso busts it open with a three run homer. 4-0 Mets and we're back to suck.

    I mean, they beat the Royals. Did anyone REALLY think this team was “back?” Actually, they are “back” now because they are one of the worst teams in baseball and are proving that once again tonight. Got roped into watching the first few innings at my buddy’s house and left to run errands in order to not have to watch anymore.

    This is a horrible ridiculous team and an even worse game.

    Verlander with a 2 hitter, 4 BB, and 6 K's thru 6 IP. TBS game analyst saying "Verlander is at the top of his game," but imo this isn't one of those games.
