No preview again (2nd straight, sorry guys) I thought someone else had it, but it's all good. I'll finish off the season's previews from now on, no problem.

    Predictions:
    Knicks: 99
    Toronto: 93
    Let's discuss!

You look at the Knicks roster, you see more talent than the Raptors, yet Toronto has a better record than the Knicks. However, I fully expect New York to take this game at MSG. Kurt Thomas, Mike Sweetney, Mo Taylor and Rose would be a handful for Chris Bosh to deal with, and Bosh is not adept at guarding physical post players such as Sweetney. On defense, it will be a different situation, as Bosh's quickness and explosiveness would be a handful for the Knicks defenders. I'd expect Marbury to go off for a big night as Rafer Alston is a very bad defender on the pick and roll, and from what I see, New York runs a lot of those with him and Thomas. Raptors will be fatigued this game and with both teams playing for nothing, I would actually like the Raptors losing for a better lottery pick.

    New York by 7.

Sorry guys, the way my schedule has turned out, it looks as if I won't be able to do the remainder of the previews. [IMG]

About the game, I think Sweetney will be able to dominate Chros Bosh if he doesn't pick up too many fouls. I also want Ariza to get some action. He should be getting minutes especially considering we're not going anywhere this season. I would also like to see Jackie Butler as well. Kurt Thomas will have a big game I think too. Let's see what takes place, it should definitely be an interesting one...

I wish we were losing, myself ( I have been pulling for a tanked season since nearly the All-Star break). The Knicks have been playing well offensively and defensivelly, Toronto has been pitiful at both sides of the game. Alston seemed over-anxious early on, all of Toronto really did. The Knicks' bench has been playing pretty well, Mo Taylor has been sensational. Taylor only played in the 2nd quarter, he scored 14 points, and got 4 boards in 12 minutes, but most importantly he hit his shots, shooting 7 of 8. We had a 10-straight FG's run or something, in that strech Toronto's defense was putrid all game, really. But at one point it really did look purely awful. Marbury hasn't scored yet, 0 points but 8 assists. The Knicks are nearly insufferable when Marbury passes very well, things are looking good for a W. Too bad I'm not rooting for one with much heart.
EDIT: Yeah russianz, that was a great play. Got me off my seat. [IMG]

^haha. yeah well sucks i cant see anything. [IMG]
the knicks should just accept the fact that they aren't making it to the playoffs, so there's no point in starting to play hard now.
just go for that pick in the draft!!!!

If only they played like that all season, would probably be in the playoffs if it wasn't for the injuries IMO. Good thing Knicks are winning...I want a good draft pick [IMG]

I could have definitely seen something like this taking place. Knicks losing a lead...what else is new? Anyway we need a high lottery pick.

Go Raptors!!! (I can not beleive I just said that [IMG] )

Toronto won *cheers*. 105-93. Good. Knicks played atrocious defense in the 3rd. Funny, the Knicks tried in the first half, Toronto didn't. Toronto tried in the second half, the Knicks didn't. Haha. At least this is better for the draft! Despite the fact that the nice Toronto losing streak at the Garden (I believe it was 7 or 8) has come to an end. It's worth it though.

LOL!! Dominate? You could've said he might outplay him, but DOMINATE? That's pretty funny.

lol the Knicks and the Raptors are alike in so many ways. the raptors are as well incredibly unpredictable. both teams are supertalented but cant seem to win games. both struggle on the road and are great at home. i could go on and on about the similarities but that would just take forever. Why not? He did it last game and why couldn't the confidence shift over to the next game. Add that to the fact that he has probably 40 more pounds to use, it wasn't completely out of the question. As I stated earlier, the Knicks are so unpredicable.

    LOLOL!!

    yea...his 2pts and 7 boards TOTALLY dominated bosh's 14pts and 14 boards [IMG]

or i suppose you were confused with the meeting before that when sweetney had a DOMINATING 6pts and 1 board vs bosh's 13pts and 6 boards
