[*]Guard Play- Marbury has had a bad shooting slump lately, looking like he finally broke out of it last game. If he can have another good shooting game, the Knicks are halfway to what they need to win the Guard matchups..the other half...Jamal Crawford. Can he overcome Larry Hughes' improved and impressive D? Or will he be another victim to be controlled by Larry?
[*]Tim Thomas- He has been bad this year and Knick fans around the world have been harsh on him. He is averaging under 10 ppg when he should be around 15. Simply he hasnt been producing, and knowing the Wizards past luck, this could be a perfect game for Thomas to have a season best game in. I would be surprised to see him go for 20+, they let Tmac go for 60 last year, and gave Tyson Chandler argueably his best game of the season this year...he is my sleeper to this game.
[*]Run- The Wizards look horrible last game with their transition D, and guard d. The Nuggets just burned them, especially Andre Miller. Washington is going to look to prove a point on D in this game, NY should test them out early and often.

[*]Others Need to Step up- Last game Jamison finally had a great game, but the rest of the Zards struggle. We need a great game from both Jamison and Arenas, and a good game from Hughes. Hughes has fallen off lately in his play and we cant afford that from him because he is right now, our 3rd option. He takes a lot of shots, and lately they havent been falling and his D has slipped.
[*]Transition D-The Wizards looked really bad last game in this department. They got beat early and often and they should expect NY to try and beat them. Its simple, move your feet and get back on D, it really isnt that complicated of a matter to grasp...just do it.
[*]Spoil Houston's Return- I dont expect Houston to grab many minutes, but when he is in the game I expect him to be looking to score and win back his starting position from Crawford. Hughes needs to stop this from happening because all the Knicks need is one more big scoring option and tey can easily win this game.
[/list]

Prediction
Washington lost their last game but I think this one is very winnable. I take Washington by 7...97-90.

There were many things that the officials were giving the Wizards but, the worse one was when the Knicks were up one and Marbury made a floater that was clearly on it's way down and Haywood blocked it. It should have been a goaltend and that would have given the Knicks a key 3 point lead with about a minute or less seconds remaining.

I was at the game and yea, the officials did BS the knicks. The knicks were horrible on the rebounding giving up 27 offensive rebounds.

The Knicks deserved to lose if they give up 27 offensive boards, and dont even talk about BSing them, the Wizards have been BSed all year by the officials...they finally got a break.

Edit: What a great picture (right after Haywood put us in the lead for good)

I watched this game, and we played very well, it seemed as though we just wanted it more than the Knicks. In the past it would have been the opposite way around, but not today. Jamison had a huge day with what was it? Somethign like 27 points, 8 assists, and 15 rebounds. If you guys haven't voted for the all-star game yet, well even if you have already, go out there and vote for Jamison. We have the highest scoring trio, consisting of Larry Hughes, Antawn Jamison, and Gilbert.
