Cashman could've traded Bader for at least something at the deadline. Another example of why he needs to get away from these decisions.
Really hoping for Volpe to continue his improvement. Still like to see him cut down his swing a bit once he gets 2 strikes on him which should help raise his BA and lower his strike outs. Glad to hear Donaldson is finally gone and as far as Bader, I would not be a bit surprised if he lands elsewhere and improves, because we already know that the Yanx are simply not very good at grooming young players. And yes, Stanton needs to go too...I was not a fan of acquisition in the first place. (Jeter is still laughing about that one) And I realize it will be hard to jettison him because of his bloated contract and because of that, Hal will probably have to eat at least half of his salary to do so. But let's face it, Stanton is strictly a one dimensional player and his occasional HR is just not enough to justify a roster spot...he's strictly a DH at this point.
