I think the Bobcats will surprise people by winning 30 to 35 games next year. I am assuming they bring back Brevin Knight, Gerald Wallace, and Kareem Rush. Last year they only won 18 games, but they were competitive despite being an expansion team and without much depth. They had a solid draft, and both Sean May & Raymond Felton are playing well in the Summer Leagues. Both players are seasoned college kids, from a winning system, who can step in and help out right away. If you look at last season, the Bobcats lost half their games by less than 10 points. 5 Losses in April by less than 10 7 losses in March by less than 10 5 losses in February by less than 10 6 losses in January by less than 10 4 losses in December by less than 10 5 losses in November by less than 10 Having a year of experience and adding May & Felton should help them win those close games, maybe as much as 50% of them. So I project a 16 game improvement from the Bobcats, which would equal 34 wins.
