I just saw a clip of this play on the NFL Network. Wilfork says he was blocked into Losman, but it looked to me like he purposefully aimed the point of his elbow at Losman's knee. Wilfolk says that he has friends on the Bills so he will reach out to Losman, who will miss the next two weeks, if I'm not mistaken. I guess those friends don't include Jonas Jennings or Chris Villarrial, who have accused Wilfork of dirty play.

Would you have preferred to see what would happen to Losman's knee if Wilfork's shoulder and the rest of his body hit it?

With that kind of logic, I can only imagine the question that you would be asking if Wilfork had hit Losman with his shoulder and the rest of his body. "Would you have preferred to see Wilfork pull out a gun and shoot him in the head?" "Would you have preferred to see Wilfork run over his knee with a snow plow?" No, I would have preferred to see Wilfork keep his elbows in and not hit Losman at all. While we talking about this incident, I think Losman got lucky that he wasn't injured more seriously. I really don't if there is a significant difference between getting nailed with a shoulder or getting nailed with the point of an elbow except that a shoulder might cover a wider area, but an elbow would put the force in a more focused point.
