Okay guys... Here's the deal. I checked out Yahoo!'s free NFL Fantasy Football and it's pretty much the same as last year. The only PROBLEM with it is that with the free leagues, they only let you draft at certain times. You can't pick a live draft time at will.

Further complicating matters is that there are only two or three open Sundays between now and the regular season and the available times are during the day. If we go with Yahoo!, we're going to have a problem finding a good draft time.

    One the flipside...

I created a free league on NFL.com. That will let you draft whenever you want, but nothing is customizable at all. You can't change scoring rules. There is no commissioner. Only 4 teams make the playoffs. It practically runs itself after the draft is over with.

What do you think? Which one should we try?

I would say nfl.com but they only let u have 3 teams which is what I already have so I would have to go through the trouble of creating another name. Also I think someone in the league said they can't play on nfl.com because it does something to their computer. So based on those events I am fine with yahoo.

Can most people draft during the week if we do it in the evening? Maybe 8pm Central time? (9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific)

And yes, we'd play through week 15 and then have a manual "interleague championship" for fun in Week 16.

We did a 16 team league 2 years back and I LOVED it but everyone else hated it lol, not enough running backs to go around.

9pm EST is fine with me...i voted yahoo! due to familiarity, but nfl.com would be ok also...i wouldn't mind the live scoring feature...

Rank the players, etc. and join the league. It'll autodraft for you. You probably won't get the BEST team from autodraft, but you'll still have enough to work with as far as trades/free agents/etc. to make a competitive team.
