Im so addicted....I cant believe how detailed the game is....Ive heard a lot of people say theres too much micro-management....I think thats a good thing....I love this game....It took me 7 hours to go from the start of the game to training camp and I was loving every minute of it(especially the draft)....the actual game experience is enthralling....I didnt anticipate getting so into it....having no actual control over the players is nerve racking....I got down big on one game and spent the rest of the game coming back to win it on the last play and if anyone was watching me, you would have thought I was coaching a real team....fist pumping, jumping around, living and dying on every play....I highly suggest the game if you love the intimate details of running a team....btw, if you are a "twitchy" gamer, dont bother, there is no twitch to the game at all....its very cerebral....

I really like the game, but it just takes tons of time to do anything because there is so much detail which is great. If you skip practices then your players dont get ur insight, and they dont do as good. I like how i can tell a player on a specific play that how he should run exactly, like QBs if u want them to pump fake, roll out, throw for the first down, throw short, etc in practice

BTW, Im hating cyber Reggie Bush....I spend half my time yelling at him because he wont stop dancing in the backfield....he doesnt handle my "motivational" speeches very well either....I should have drafted a RB instead of a ballerina....

A quick warning....the interface is unorthodox....its difficult to manuever at 1st, but i got the hang of it quickly....you may want to quit becuase the interface is wierd, but dont....you will get passed it....its also very structured in the time and order that you have to do things....just pay attention to your Goals for each week and get those done, the rest takes care of itself....

I played it for PS2 and didn't enjoy the game at all. Like you said, too much detail and it takes forever to get anywhere. I don't enjoy that. I also hate not having control on what the players do on the field. I don't mind detail, but this game went too far with it in my opinion.

I'm with you man. I rented it for XBox, played it once and never touched it again. Waste of money, it's way more fun to play Madden by itself when you control the players.

Theres different type of people. Ones who like to be in the fight and the others who have the knoledge to tell people what to do and make it work perfectly. And then theres the ones who have great minds and like to be in the fight. The people who like Madden HC and Madden Classica are the ones with the minds and like to be in the game. The ones who like Madden Classis like to be in the fight. And the ones who like to be the coach like Madden HC.

I personally like the Superstar Mode in Madden '07. Where you only control your player and that's it. What you do on the field directly influences what kind of player you are or will be. BTW, I haven't played Madden HC yet, but I don't look forward to it, maybe because it's sort of a different side of Madden and I'm so used to the franchise mode in the previous Maddens.

I'm a Franchise mode player. I don't care for the superstar mode. I want to build my team into a dynasty instead. I want to be the GM.
