The sports betting online is really heating up for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, and every NFL betting enthusiast is looking for that edge. Whenever you get ready to do your sportsbook promo betting, it always helps to remember that one player on each team that quietly makes a difference all season long. Not every wide receiver in the NFL is a Chad Ochocinco that makes a lot of noise about their accomplishments. Some receivers just go about their business and have an often unnoticed impact on NFL predictions. Here are some receivers playing in this weekend’s divisional games that will have an impact on the final result. Greg Jennings – Green Bay Packers Greg Jennings has been a quite, but extremely effective, weapon for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense. This is the third time in a five-year career that Jennings has caught for more than 1,000 receiving yards, and the second time he has caught for more than 1,200 yards. He had 12 touchdowns and did not lose a fumble all season long. He dropped the ball twice, but both times he got it back. Jennings is the sure-handed producer that every successful quarterback needs, and Aaron Rodgers knows exactly how to get the ball to Jennings at any point in the game. Wes Welker – New England Patriots In his career Wes Welker has fought the image of his diminutive size, and he has recovered from a ACL tear in one summer that should have taken a year to recover from. Injuries hampered Welker again in 2010, but in 11 starts he still amassed 848 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Welker was not a factor early in the season, but as the year has gone on he has taken back his role as one of Tom Brady’s primary targets. Along with tight end Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker is part of a very productive receiving duo. Roddy White – Atlanta Falcons Roddy White has not exactly been quiet about his accomplishments in 2010, but the only place he has made a spectacle of himself is on the football field. Matt Ryan’s favorite target had 1,389 receiving yards this season and 10 touchdowns. He is an extremely sure-handed receiver and a great route runner. The only downfall to an offense like the one the Falcons have is that everyone knows who Ryan is looking to throw the ball to. The good thing is that no one has figured out how to stop them yet. Mike Wallace – Pittsburgh Steelers Hines Ward may have the biggest smile in Pittsburgh, but Mike Wallace is the receiver quietly getting the job done on the field. Wallace finished the regular season with 1,257 yards and 10 touchdowns. The second-year player out of Mississippi started every game for the Steelers this year, and he did not lose a fumble all season long. When Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looks for the long ball, it is Wallace he is looking for. Along with Ward and Antwaan Randle El, Wallace makes up a part of a very interesting group of Steelers receivers.
