Online Betting Overview Normally, football teams would not look at a blowout win as a sign that the following week should be smooth sailing. But the Dallas Cowboys can look at their 44-7 drubbing of the Buffalo Bills in week 10 as a sign that it should be able to win the week 11 matchup with the Washington Redskins. While the Bills play a different game than the Redskins, the Cowboys offer enough consistency to be able to contain the Redskins in the same way it contained the Bills. Just the fact that the word consistency can be used in a sentence that describes the way the Dallas Cowboys play football is a huge step forward for this football team. The Washington Redskins should have really drafted a quarterback in the 2011 draft. Why head coach Mike Shanahan felt that Rex Grossman would be able to be a consistent NFL starter has the price per head fans in Washington shaking their heads. After two weeks of the failed John Beck experiment, Shanahan went back to Grossman and lost anyways. Now that the Redskins have gone from leading the NFC East to the basement, maybe Shanahan will see that he really does need a quarterback in the draft. The only problem is that, aside from Andrew Luck, the 2012 class of quarterbacks is not nearly as good as the 2011 class and, as bad as Washington is, the Redskins will not qualify for the number one overall pick. Dallas Cowboys The Cowboys are putting the heat on the New York Giants for the NFC East lead and the Giants have never responded well to that kind of heat. The pay per head fans in Dallas know that the current winning streak includes wins over teams like the Bills and the Seattle Seahawks. But winning in the NFL is winning, and the Cowboys need just one more win to tie for the NFC East lead. Much to the dismay of the people paying Tony Romo a lot of money, the Cowboys have been riding its running game in this winning streak. Rookie DeMarco Murray will be joined by returning veteran running back Felix Jones to create what should be a potent running attack. Wide receiver Miles Austin is out but Dez Bryant has slipped in to the starting spot very nicely. Washington Redskins The only bodog review you need of the Washington Redskins is that it has lost five games in a row. In the NFL, it is virtually impossible to lose five games in a row and still make the playoffs. Mike Shanahan has made a series of bad decisions since he arrived in Washington but he cannot be blamed for all of it. Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth and quarterback Donovan McNabb went to other teams and could not contribute there either. But the biggest mistake that Shanahan made was in thinking that Rex Grossman was a starting NFL quarterback. Now his team will wallow in the depths of the NFC East until a real starting quarterback can be found. The Bottom Line While the NFL schedule has been good to the Cowboys lately, Dallas should not expect to just waltz through this game. The Redskins can be beaten, as they have shown repeatedly all season long. But if you fall asleep on the Redskins, it will make you pay. Pick: Dallas Cowboys
