There is a (deliberately?) vague article on Boxing Scene with quotes from Cesar Gracie claiming that Diaz has been offered "the opportunity of a lifetime" as it pertains to his MMA career, which we can only assume means he will have a title unification bout with St-Pierre in Montreal at UFC ~140 in December. This would shelf a Diaz/Jeff Lacy fight. The date coincides with the end of the airing of TUF 14 which suggests that Diaz and GSP will be opposing coaches on the series though that speculation doesn't take into account GSP's very recent tenure on the show. There is also a rumour that Zuffa is struggling trying to keep Strikeforce alive (having cleared out almost all of their management and administrative staff in the last few weeks) and the brand could be folded into the UFC sooner than expected--assuming the Showtime television deal can be reworked. It makes you wonder if the unification bout will mean anything by December if Strikeforce is dead and buried. St-Pierre has already opened as a 4-to-1 favourite on some betting sites and would bring a significant wrestling advantage into the fight.

DFW: the fight hasn't been signed, they won't be coaching TUF, and they aren't looking at December in Montreal. So that's that.
