Who will be undefeated for the longest, and who will the remaining unbeatens lose to? Here's a list of teams that have yet to take a loss and a bit of information about them.

    1. Connecticut (1)
UConn was already a champion in Hawai`i, beating Arizona and Gonzaga, although neither of those teams have been playing that well (Arizona's 2OT win versus Washington not withstanding). Since then, the Huskies have mostly played cupcakes. Point guard Marcus Williams is about to rejoin the team, as they face LSU (Jan. 7), Cincinnati (Jan. 9), play at Syracuse (Jan. 16), at Louisville (Jan. 21), Pittsburgh (Jan. 31), at Indiana (Feb. 4), at Villanova (Feb. 13), at West Virginia (Feb. 18), Villanova (Feb. 26) and Louisville (March 4).

    2. Villanova (2)
'Nova has beaten Oklahoma, and also won away at Bucknell. 6'4" Randy Foye leads the team in rebounding, which probably isn't a good thing, but joined by fellow guards Ray, Lowry and Nardi they make up quite a force. Villanova's potential losses seem to be at Louisville (Jan. 5), West Virginia (Jan. 8), at Texas (Jan. 14), Louisville (Jan. 30), at Cincinnati (Feb. 23), and at Syracuse (March 5), plus the aforementioned games against Connecticut.

    3. Duke (3)
Let's be honest, Duke is still on this list only thanks to a lucky Dockery heave from midcourt. However, Duke has beaten Memphis and Texas, and won at Indiana. Duke hosts Bucknell on Jan. 2, then plays at Wake Forest (Jan. 8), Maryland (Jan. 11), NC State (Jan. 18), at VT (VT is seeking revenge on Jan. 26), at BC (Feb. 1), at UNC (Feb. 7), at Maryland (Feb. 11), and they close the season out at UNC (March 4).

    4. Illinois (6)
The Illini have lost Deron Williams and Luther Head, but Dee Brown and James Augustine are leading the team to another great season so far. They've won at UNC and beaten Georgetown, while blowing out Oregon. It's easy to forget that they only beat Wichita St. by 1 on a shot with 1.5 seconds remaining. Illinois plays Michigan State (Jan. 5), at Iowa (Jan. 7), Michigan (Jan. 14), at Indiana (Jan. 17), at Wisconsin (Jan. 31), at Ohio State, the lone team to have beaten them last year (Feb. 12), and later play Indiana, at Michigan, Iowa, at Minnesota, and close the season at Michigan State (March 4).

    5. Florida (11)
The Gators surprised some people with decent wins against Wake Forest, and Syracuse, and they've also won against the entire state of Florida (FSU, UCF, Jacksonville, Miami, Florida A&M). Possible losses seem to include games at Georgia (Jan. 7), at Tennessee (Jan. 21), versus Kentucky (Feb. 4), LSU (Feb. 11), at Arkansas (Feb. 18), at Alabama (Feb. 26), and at Kentucky (March 5).

    6. Ohio State (16)
The Buckeyes are undefeated thanks to a miracle comeback versus LSU, and have also beaten VT and won at Iowa State and St. Joseph's. A roster of solid guards and small forwards is anchored by center Terence Dials. OSU travels to Indiana (Jan. 7), and plays MSU (Jan. 15), Wisconsin (Jan. 24), at Iowa (Jan. 28), and also plays at Michigan, hosts Illinois, at Wisconsin, and at MSU (Feb. 22).

    7. Pittsburgh (22)
Pittsburgh beat AP #24 Wisconsin today, which should be enough to enter the AP themselves. It is also their only meaningful win. The Panthers hold opponents to an average of 55 points per game. They have games coming up versus Notre Dame (Jan. 4), at Louisville (Jan. 15), at Connecticut (Jan. 31), and at Georgetown, versus West Virginia, and at West Virginia.

    8. Texas A&M
The Aggies are (sort of) the least tested of all the undefeated teams. Building on an encouraging season last year, the best wins they can claim are at home versus Auburn and Northwestern State. A&M will play at Pacific Jan. 3, at Oklahoma State (Jan. 11), home versus Oklahoma (Jan. 14), at Iowa State (Jan. 21), and also play at OU, at Texas, Texas, and at Texas Tech.

    9. Baylor
The Baylor Bears are undefeated thanks to an amusing technicality. One player murdered another, the ex-coach covered it up, and the NCAA took the unique step of banning the Bears (who actually had several good players that transfered - John Lucas Jr. (Ok.SU), Kenny Taylor (Texas), and Lawrence Roberts who became SEC player of the year at Mississippi State) from pre-conference play. Baylor plays at Texas Tech (Jan. 11), who might beat them, and then they play the rest of the Big 12. Do I really need to name specific games for this team?

Forget about Villanova and UConn, there's no way they are going through the Big East undefeated. Throw out Duke too, they are bound to get beat by UNC, Wake Forest, or Maryland. No way Illinois can get through probably the toughest conference in America. Flordia has a chance, but they are so overrated at this point I think someone like Ketucky or LSU will just blow them out. Ohio State is in the same situation as Illinois. Pittsburgh never plays a tough non-conference games. Texas A&M and Baylor can run the tables if they can get by Oklahoma and Texas which doesn't seem to hard to do these days. If Texas A&M can get by Oklahoma at home I'm going to say the last undefeated will be Texas A&M as it looks like they can get by through January 21st.

I don't see the Gators losing until the 21st when they play in Tennessee. Tennessee brings a lot of pressure and that's not good when you have a team with only 1 true PG. I honestly see them sweeping us. I will say the Gators go 10-6 or 11-5 during the SEC play.

LSU and Kentucky are at home(well the 1st game against UK is), so I see us winning both of those games. I don't think we will lose many (if any at home). I see us losing 1 game to either Kentucky, LSU, or Tennessee. I just think Tennessee matches up very good against us.

If we get by Tennessee, I can see us still being undefeated around mid February or later.
