here we are again, niners seahawks. while the niners have played the hawks really well the last couple of seasons, this game is HUGE for us. with a win, and then games at arizona, and at home with the rams, the niners could come out of the next 3 games with a 5-5 record.

while that doesnt mean much to the elitist fans of pretty much every other team in the league, it would be a huge step in the right direction from a niner fans point of view.

    me:
    Hey we are 5-5!!!yay!!!!:)

    chargers fan:
we are 5-5, fuck!! this sucks!!!

so you get the importance of this to me, i will promise to not contemplate suicide for the rest of the year if we can get to 5-5.

i swear that i will go to a niners game next year if we can get to 5-5.

i will buy a JT OSulivan jersey if we can get to 5-5.

i will quit smoking(CIGARETTES) IF WE CAN GET TO 5-5!

btw, anyone see the new president of the team at the news conference? Jed York, son of John(satan) and Denise(whore) York (i cant wait for them to die so i can piss on thier graves), and Godson of the great EDDIE DEBARTOLO!! Hopefully he is just a puppet to his uncle and the previous regime will rise from the ashes like a phoenix just in time to beat phoenix IN phoenix to get to 4-5, and one game away from my masturbatory fantasy that is .500 ball.

    also...

the mike singletary era is here folks, and am i the only one who hates him? i get that he is VERY well respected and all, i just cant get over the bears team that he played us on. one of my least favorite teams. ever. oh well, hopefully he whips the boys into shape, we win the next 7-8 super bowls, and he gets off my shit list.

    prediction:

    niners 23 hawks 17

Must win if they want to be in the playoffs. I think they can pull it off, but you never know. From what I've heard, last week's loss was ugly. Hopefully that doesn't carry over to this week. And I hope the coach firing doesn't make the players play worse. Let's see if the other new coach in the Bay Area can lead his team to a win in his first week on the job.

Good news, Hasselbeck is not playing again this week. The 49ers should be motivated this week after Nolan was fired. Hopefully Singletary can get the guys fired up on the defensive end. Seattle struggled against Tampa Bay last week trying to pass block and Seneca Wallace couldn't find any open receivers. Seattle is banged up again this week and I'm expecting the 49ers to win this game by double digits.
