I'm excited as well. Should be a nice movie. Going to see 2012 later tonight with my brother and cousin. Also we have a Movies section here at S2, not sure if you knew.
I usually go like every month sometimes two. Always try and catch a nice movie that I know will be a classic down the road. (big fan of ww2 movies, and thrillers)
There has to be one fucking decent movie out there with the word "Ninja" in the title. How can so much win translate into so much fail?
Maybe the secret to really good ninja movies is that nobody knows they are there. There are dozens of great ninja DVD's right behind you! *poof* Now they're gone.
Ninja Assassin got a 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's not good. I wonder if film-makers just assume that movies featuring ninjas or pirates will automatically be good, so put no effort into them? The only movie featuring either ninja or pirates that I liked was Pirates of the Caribbean, and that was purely due to Johnny Depp's Keith Richards pirate. He alone was very win. The rest of that movie was pretty weak.
Keith Richards and Mick Jagger would be better cast in a zombie movie at this point. I'm not entirely sure that they're not actually undead kept alive by dark arts. If so, they take no pains to hide it.
