This is pretty cool. The first exclusive game to receive a 10 from IGN and GameSpot. Only one game has been able to get this score for next-gen consoles. And that was GTA IV. Now there's two. IGN GameSpot This doesn't normally come along everyday. I just wanted to know you're thoughts on this.
Never played Metal gear sold series, whats all the hype about it? and they need to hold there standards on games higher, cause GTA IV shouldn't be a 10.

IGN made it sound so good, when in fact, it's pretty flawed.
Heh, I love GTAIV, but haven't played it recently. Though, I'm at 25+ hours in it and at an insanely hard mission. Personally, I think it deserves the 10 based on the story mode alone, but that's just me.

I've played limited minutes of 2 and 3, and I've gotten through half of the portable version before losing it. Although, I did find it the other day. What I can say is that...the game play is great. Top-notch. The story line is epic. Best story lines of any game I've ever played. It's like big, epic movie...with plot twists and everything. There isn't much you can hate on these games for, either. I mean, it's so much fun playing it, you're likely to go through it more than twice. What long games can you say that about?

And i like Online but only Free roam with my friends. That is a good laugh, As for MGS4, It's the only reason i would Ever get a PS3 for myself but for the Timebeing i am more than happy with my 360.
GTA is really fun but the replay value is lower than I expected it to be. I'm not into online multiplayer so maybe that is why I'm not picking that game up much anymore. I've never played a Metal Gear game (or a Final Fantasy game for that matter). For whatever reason I have a real aversion to Japanese storytelling in video games. I dunno, I'm just on a different wavelength than them I guess.
Damn, this game is awesome. Playing in on 360, and I'm surprised how much I like it. It's difficult, but fair. In terms of action, I've never played anything like it. I also didn't realize how long it'd be. I've put in about 12 or 13 hours so far, and I think i'm 80% done. I already have NG2, so I'm looking forward to playing that once I finish Black. Anyone else play either?
im playin MGS4 still... 4 time around ^^ love the game... just so many damn movies... i just skip the cut scenes... esp the last one in the end where its like 1hr and 20mins... umm GTA dont have yet... i need to play rainbow 6 vegas again... but just picked up madden ^^ and i think its a lot better... the defense actually plays defense unlike previous maddens where u can put up 40 pts in the first quarter
