Re: Nitro's thoughts on....the Houston Rockets!

Outside of 1 day, I haven't been on the computer in 50 days to being grounded/comp problems. Since early December many things have happenned with my favorite team, so let me get it all off my chest:-T-Mac is showing that he is still the best player on the Rockets, still the MVP of the Rockets, and showing that this team can't win without his presence. Yao has been amazing all season, but without T-Mac this team isn't in the playoffs.-Once Yao comes back, Yao/T-Mac need to get together, along with JVG, and find a middle ground between the 2. In 04-05 the offense was too much T-Mac and too little Yao. This season has been too much Yao and not enough T-Mac (which held back the role players). In order for this team to win, they need to be a balanced attack, and both need to learn when to defer to the other and when to step up. If that happens, the Rockets are arguably the best team in the league.-In order for this team to beat either Phoenix or Dallas, they need their X-facotr: Bonzi Wells off the bench. He gives them instant offense, and a spark that they still are missing without him. He could be huge for this team.-Trade Rafer Alston. Why the hell does he push it so hard on every possession when this team is a slow down team that revolves around T-Mac's playmaking and Yao posting up down low. Sometimes Rafer is good and gives them a spark, but most of the time he makes bad TO's and takes stupid shots. Trade him for a good defensive PG that can shoot the ball and playmake well without T-Mac in the game. Not much more to say now, I'll add more later.

I guess u got everythin in a nutshell. im a fan of streetball and all up for streetballers in the league, but rafer hasnt shown anythin good (only wen t-mac aint around) and his shooting has hardly improved from his offseason shooting. I cant wait till yao and bonzi come back

just curious nitro where are you from in NJ?anyway. alston has had somewhat of a down season, but his stats are still pretty good dude. I dont think you can trade him even though he is making some mistakes. 14/5 is still a good option from your PG...
