Mark Montgomery will be named Northern Illinois men's basketball coach, according to multiple sources. Montgomery interviewed with Northern Illinois officials in DeKalb on Wednesday. It was his second interview for the position. Montgomery has spent the last 10 years on Michigan State's staff under Tom Izzo. He was promoted to associate head coach in 2007.
