whats with the number 11? all the new rookie are wearing it, Kellen Winslow II, Reggie WIllaims, Roy Williams. whats with it? this is a dumb question, but its bugging the hell out of me of why its such a popular # now
Kellen Winslow is not wearing 11. he switched to his dads number before season. I think recievers/TE should wear an 8x number myself.
I believe that the NFL made it official that WR's are allowed to select a wider range of numbers from now on. Before, they were only allowed to pick #'s 10 through 19 only if all the 80's were used up. That's a thing of the past now. As for #11, who knows? A few years ago, I thought that it was strange that so many players (offense and defense) were often picking #22 or 21. I guess it serves to increase our total number of posts to talk about this.

Because of Daunte Culpepper of course.
