<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Despite rumors and newspaper stories suggesting otherwise, Bulls general manager John Paxson is not close to making any deals that include a ?big-name?? player.

?Right now, we still have over three weeks (before over the trade deadline), and as I have learned, a lot of teams don?t do much until the trade deadline gets closer,?? said Paxson, who just returned from a scouting trip in Europe.

?There is a misconception that those (superstar) guys are readily available. The discussions I have had, those names have not come up.

?(The rumors) seem to take on a life of their own, that we should go out and get a guy. We would love to have a guy that can score 25 points a night, but those guys are hard to come by and teams don?t give up on them.?

No boo-boos: Heading into a two-week road trip, the Bulls report no significant injuries. Coach Scott Skiles said Luol Deng did not practice Monday because of tendinitis in his foot but would be ready to play tonight at Dallas.</div>

I’m content with this roster. I think this recent turn around that the Bulls have pulled winning four in a row influenced Paxson’s choice to hold steady, as opposed to making a move. Besides the real thing we are missing to make this team a squad that can make noise in the playoffs is a big man, and there are no dominant big men on the market that we have a decent chance at getting. I would love to keep this roster as it is add Demarcus Aldridge through the draft and add maybe one or two big free agents over the summer. That would be my ideal scenario.

In three or four years? The Bulls where in the playoffs just last year, and are in position to be in them again this year. If you said maybe title contender in three or four years considering the youth the Bulls have, and the type of big names that the Chicago market attracts then I would agree.

the bulls will make the playoffs this year also. we have alot of future big names and we just have to be patient. We are in a great position to get a great draft pick and maybe Al harrington next year Im ill be happy with that. Id prefer the bulls to become more like the Pistons and not the Heat.

    Go Bulls!!!!
