No sign of CB Quentin Jammer on the practice field this morning, making it all but certain he will miss Sunday's game against Indianapolis. Jammer has started all 72 games the past 4 1/2 seasons, the longest active Chargers-only streak (some of Mike Goff's 82 straight starts came with Cincinnati). Jammer will be replaced by Antonio Cromartie, who will be making his first career start. Also not practicing for the third straight practice was backup LB Marques Harris, which could be problematic if anything happens to LB Shaun Phillips, who missed last week's game with a groin injury. Harris also contributes on special teams.

UPDATE -- Jammer was listed as doubtful, which is NFL-speak for no chance. He said he's hoping that by not playing this week, he'll be OK for next week in Jacksonville. Harris was listed as questionable. Meanwhile, the Colts listed backup safety Matt Giordano and slot receiver Anthony Gonzalez as out. Eight players were listed as questionable, including seven starters -- DT Raheem Brock, TE Dallas Clark, WR Marvin Harrison, T Tony Ugoh, CB Marlin Jackson and LBs Freddie Keiaho and Tajuan Hagler. Of those seven, only Brock and Jackson were listed as having participated fully in practice today.
