The Lakers are in super-tank mode. I say that we kick them while they are down and maybe it may take longer for them to get back up again? I really wish that Chris Paul would have been traded to New York and allow the SoCal area suffer for a while just like every other market has. At this point, is their really any difference between Chris Paul on the Clippers versus playing for the Lakers; it's the same exact building they play in at home?

The only glimmer of hope I have for the league at this point is that David Stern appears to have returned the game to it's former self and now the new commissioner can do what he wants with it. I do believe that this is a DOWN year for the league over all but I also firmly believe that this is for the betterment. It appears that more teams are trying to play with in the confines of the lottery which is a good thing; it's just going to take some time for that progress to show up.
