Where are all the people who love to trounce the Lions? I guess it is hard to rip on them the day after they demolish the Falcons who many experts were saying could be the best team in the NFC? Good game fellas good game... Now to the Niners where we might actually put something together called a "winning streak"? (Can someone remind me of what that is? [IMG] )

    Sorry.

This lions team still blows hard. Fortunately for them Vick was bound to plunge to new depths of suckitude after having 2 good games. Any other week of the season this team gets trounced. They just plain suck. I wouldnt trust this defense to stop a pop warner passing attack (who throw a lot better than vick) It is even hard to fathom how millen hasnt been buried in the end zone of ford field. No one has put a worse team on the field over a 5 year span than what millen has done. He is the worst GM in NFL history. The worst GM in history. Heck, even choosing benedict arnold as a general was a better decision than the ford family hiring millen. At least arnold was a winner on the field of battle, millen could lead the lions to locker room, much less a winning season.

    Better?

I don't love to trounce the Lions. There are 31 teams in the league that can do that. My issues w/ the Detroit franchise are; 1) Millen & 2) Certain predictable fans.

props to the lions beating a decent team. But remember yo guys are still 2-6 but this team could be half way decent in a couple of years.

I'm here when I have time... I'll be around even if we lose... I am not a band wagon fan...

It is kind of funny that a Bears fan is calling someone else predictable... How predictable is it to rip on Millen EVERYTIME the Lions are mentioned? [IMG] Seriously, I don't think it hurts ANY Lions fan to rip on Millen. We all know he is a bone head and if he ever does turn this thing around it will be because of pure luck.

Besides, is it so wrong to shed some positive light on your team, however infrequent that may be?

How bad is this statement going to look when the Phins lose on Thanksgiving? I wouldn't play Harrington if I were Saban...

Hey! You asked me rip on lions! Maybe not word for word, but it was implied.

Well. Now you have done it. Your arrogance has condemned the Lions to be the main course here in 16 days.

Please do what ever you have to to explain to Saban that Harrington should not step foot on Ford Field... Personally, I like the guy and I don't want to see him get injured... Hall will be back, Cody will be back and Shaun Rogers will be fresh off a 4 week suspension. Things may get a little out of control with that dreadful O-line the Phins field, that is if Harrington doesn't get run out of Detroit before the game even starts of course...

I am not going to even get into what R. Williams and Furrey are going to do to you secondary... Ouch... The matchups definately favor us...

You know a month ago I would of thought you were dreaming but now I definately see your points. I watched both teams this year and I think their evenly match. I would probably give the edge to the Dolphins but no more than a touchdown win.

Is this where the DWO is supposed to quiver and shake in fear and awe? Aren't your Lions a sucky 2-6 just like our Dolphins? Except that the Dolphins beat the Bears and the Bears killed the Lions. However, I'm objective enough and have my feet set in reality, so I'm not going to use some faulty logic to determine that the Dolphins must be 45 points better than the Lions. In my opinion, neither team has performed consistantly enough to provoke fear in another team. Both teams are capable of stinking up the joint. I just don't see a reason why the Dolphins should fear another 2-6 team. If the Lions are good enough to be feared, then why are they 2-6? I'm more concerned about Larry Johnson and the Chiefs right now.

Dude, I've been saying "probably next year" about the Lions for the last ten years...or however long it's been since Barry Sanders retired.

    Matt Millen = Lion Killer
