Fact is, the Hornets forward may have to retire (missed 63 games and playoffs) due to lack of cartilage (bone on bone) in his right knee. Mash should consult with Kerry Kittles; experimental (at the time) surgery allowed him to overcame that exact problem. </div> Full Story Ouch, a very tough break for Mashburn. Hopefully he will overcome the injury and finish out his career in the NBA.
Im pretty glad this came up. Mashburn is a great player indeed, but injury problems are forcing him to think retirement. Hopefully we can work that Jamison deal to make it more appealing to us.
Too bad, would'a liked to see the "moster" Mash in a cavs uni. Oh well, there are still more options left on the table. I hope they can get either one of the Spurs shooters, or SJax
I don't really mind, he's got a bad attitude and is injury prone. Chances of him going healthy again are minimal, he would've helped but I'm kinda glad. I'm much rather you guys getting someone to start along with Boozer, LeBron and McInnis.
