It's surprising that such a good team with so many good players doesn't have any fans here. If I had to choose a favorite team in the West, Portland would be one of the top. Sure, they have a lot of disciplinary problems, but they can get the job done on the court. Plus, I love teh position on point forward (what I play), and the Blazers are the only ones I an think of who use it.

Blazers are won of my favorite teams in the West too. They play aggresive ball. There disciplinary problems have gone down since last year.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
2003 team quietly becoming the best in the West? Pippen playing like he did for the Bulls? Very strange...I think of 2003 as the beginning of the end. Clearly past contention days and the steep fall toward the bottom of the standings close at hand.

Pippen was surprisingly good on his last legs...the team really fell off big the next year without him, as they really had no one who could distribute. Oh well. It was a 50 win team...the last good memories until Roy and Aldridge came to town.

Man, how quickly that team unraveled ... those were some unhappy days (even with the fifty wins)
