Gawd I really,really,really hope Hendo's not done as we've seen with so many older 1st generation fighters and the he has enough in the gas tank to beat Bisping. But I got a nagging feeling that Bisping's stand up will be too varied and his speed may be too much for an aging Hendo... maybe because we've seen it so often recently.
I've got the same feeling. I think Bisping might stick and run the whole fight. If Dan can't close the distance, he better hope to land a couple of money rights. However, I still believe Hendo will close the distance and take him down. I mean for fuck's sake, Bisping can't defend a takedown to save his life. Hendo should have no fucking problem taking him down. I hope he puts some nice Gnp on him.
I'm really hoping he opens Bisping up a bit, but Dan doesn't use elbows that much since he's so used to not using them.
Bisping isnt gonna be able to knock Hendo out, but I think he'll mix his stand up well and actually go for a few take downs and he'll be able to score a victory that way. If Bisping can be sucessful with his stand up for the first few minutes of the fight and defend the take downs well he might be able to goad Hendo into a stand up match.
I don't think Bisping can beat Henderson, but I didn't think Mir could beat Nogueira... I think Rich Franklin is better than Bisping and Hendo was able to out-point him. I think the same will happen again.
Bisping has a very different style than Franklin. I'm thinking I might pick Bisping to win it if Hendo fights the same way he did against Franklin.
The closer we get to the event the more I think Bisping is gonna win this match, hes gonna be fighting with a fire that we haven't seen before if we are to believe some of the things he's said about how he feels hes been disrespected by the fighting community and being called a douchebag.
