THANK GOD. This is great news.
link
BALTIMORE -- An MRI on the right triceps of Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis revealed no tear to the main muscle, ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported Wednesday afternoon.
Lewis did not participate in the team's Wednesday workout. Ravens coach Brian Billick says Lewis will be a game-time decision.
Lewis hurt his upper right arm on his first tackle of Monday's season opener at Cincinnati. He got up after tackling receiver T.J. Houshmandazeh holding his arm in pain.
Reports after Monday night's game indicated that Lewis had torn one of his triceps muscles. Lewis, asked by ESPN.com's Matt Mosley if his triceps was torn after the game, said: "Yeah, I think it is."
Lewis finished the series, then came to the sideline and got a stretch wrap applied to his upper arm. Lewis played the next series, but shied away from contact with the arm.
Lewis later jogged to the locker room to get the arm examined.

Lewis returned after getting his upper right arm tightly wrapped. During his next series, Lewis pulled down Rudi Johnson with his opposite arm, clearly favoring the injured one.

I'm glad to hear the good news. Our defense just isn't the same without him in the lineup. I hope he has a game like on Monday where he was all over the field.
