So we did not accomplish a trade and our stuck with our same team for the rest of the season, I wonder if it was for lack of trying or the fact that no one in the NBA wanted any of our players that we were willing to trade. So what does this mean for us for the rest of the season? Will spree start playing consistenly so he can get the FAT contract he wants so he can feed his family? Will Sam return to health and play how he is capable so he can get the contract extension he wants? Will wally keep being willing to come of the bench and be the team player he has been so far this season. Will troy and trenton start playing like they deseave the contracts they recieved the past off season? Will Kandi man continue playing better like he has shown he is capble of? Will mark madson return help to jump start wovles for a run at the play offs? Will KG recover from his right knee tendinitos? Will Mchale fall in love with coaching so much that he will return next year? Wow i just thought of a ton of questions.....only time will be able to give us answers....but i think it would be cool to hear if you guys have answers to my questions...hasta Lo
I do believe that this is a good basketball team, and once they realize this they will be great. If everybody starts worrying about the team instead of their contracts and their playing time, this team will being scaring other teams in the west like Seattle, Pheonix, and San Antonio. I do believ they will make the playoffs and have some teams sweating towards the end of the year. I'm not mad the Wolves didn't make a trade even though I would have liked to see Kidd or Redd in a Wolves jersey.
OK, in response to all of the questions that have positive outcomes: NO In response to all that have negative outcomes: Yes Believe that nothing will get better.
KG MVP I love your answer to all of my questions...unfortunaly i agree with ya...but i am hoping to be shocked
TNT's David Aldrige reported that the Rockets wanted Sam Cassell, but then they backed out of it. Timberwolves were not going to pick up additional salary either hence why they did not make the trade. There are lot of great questions that you posted, Paulijacks. Time will tell.
I really think the T Wolves needed a trade. But on the other hand I'm sure Kevin McHale was busy coaching, working the phones on the same shift would be pretty tough. So what do the Wolves do now? It's obvious that it's going to be tough for them to make the playoffs. And after failing to make any changes by the trade deadline it's not going to make things any easier on them. In my opinion they might as well join the Kings and realize that they aren't contenders anymore, and start rebuilding.
