<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CLEVELAND ? The chances are slim that the Mavericks will make a trade-deadline deal today. Slim, but not none.

The deadline is 2 p.m. today, and president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson said he doesn't anticipate anything major involving the Mavericks.

"We're happy with where we're at," he said. "We're not looking to facilitate change. "We understand some of the guys are struggling. And we weren't happy with the performance [Tuesday in Memphis]. But the worst time you can make personnel decisions is in those times when you're struggling."

Nelson said the pickup of Scott Williams before the All-Star break has eased the urgency of making a move.

"If there was a position that we needed addressing, it was center, and we feel better about that now with Scott," Nelson said. "We just feel that we should give these guys a chance to show what they can do." </div>

Last year not making a trade was a good move, hopefully we get the same result this year
