But the oral jabs continued.Bulls coach Scott Skiles took exception to postgame comments from Heat counterpart Stan Van Gundy. "I was not real thrilled with Stan's comments, honestly, about how a role player shouldn't do anything to a star," Skiles said. "I think that's some of the attitude that's wrong with the league. I didn't think there was anything malicious there. It was just instinct." Nocioni has annoyed countless opponents with his frenetic and physical defense, but ask him about it and you get his soft side and a cat-ate-the-canary smile. He laughed off the idea of being suspended for his hard foul and push to the ground of Dwyane Wade. "No, why, for this?" Nocioni said. "Why? It's the game. It's normal. Sometimes it happens. It's my foul but it's not bad enough for suspension. That's my opinion." Nocioni also saw Van Gundy's comments. "Maybe he wanted to protect his player," Nocioni said. "It's normal for a coach to speak badly of an opponent. It's OK." The Bulls could face Miami in a second-round playoff matchup.</div> Source

But it all happened in the flow of the game. Nocioni has been a tough, physical defender all year, and that's just the way he plays. I'm sure he didn't mean to foul Wade that hard, but it happens. It's a part of the game. So people should just learn to get over it.

When your in the flow of the game sometimes tempers rise and players do things they normally wouldn't do. It was a hard foul and haslem reacted without thinking, It's completly normal, so I don't think it was that big of a deal. I honestly think some people enjoy to watch fights between NBA players rather than watch them play the game.
If anything maybe a heated rivalry can start up because of this and if the Bulls meet the Heat in the second round.
I think this was just a hard-core defensive player thats was annoyed, it was a hard foul but not enough to put him out for the season i like Nocioni's D he reminds me of Bruce Bowen on how they fusterate players and get inside thier head. I was a hard foul but nothing to be suspended for
when stan van gundy sayd that a role player should do anything to a star player, should it work like a fat obiese coach(aka stan van gundy) shouldnt be allowed to talk about a superb athelete/gold medalist(andres nocioni)?
