    http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/north-korea-atrocities-strikingly-similar-to-nazi-era-un-says-1.2540021

A UN report into North Korea released Monday lists atrocities including murder, torture, rape, abductions, enslavement, starvation and executions.

    ...

Michael Kirby, chairman of the independent Commission of Inquiry, told Reuters the crimes the team had catalogued were reminiscent of those committed by Nazis during Second World War.

"Some of them are strikingly similar," he said.

"Testimony was given ... in relation to the political prison camps of large numbers of people who were malnourished, who were effectively starved to death and then had to be disposed of in pots, burned and then buried ... It was the duty of other prisoners in the camps to dispose of them," he said.

China is the main country supporting North Korea's house of cards at the moment. China is their main trade partner and props up their unstable economy. The problem China faces is that the utter collapse of North Korea would lead to millions of illegal immigrants flooding into the mainland. As much as North Korea has become a major issue for the global community, China seems to be the country with the most at stake, both financially and in terms of the reputation they are trying to build as an increasingly progressive and modern nation. Nonetheless, waiting on China to act seems like a perilous gamble.

The best way to get into this vacation paradise is to fly some model rockets over the Pentagon and or White House, you will be taken in a a nice cool plane ride with a bag over your head so it is nice and dark and the sun doesn't hurt your eyes. Spectacular facilities, nice massages and great hot tubs. They're so nice to help you learn to hold your breath for long amounts of time, which can come in handy for your next stay at this awesome place. I would go back again, once I can buy more rockets.

When I first visited Guantanamo, I wasn't expecting much. I had heard the place I was staying in was only 3 stars so I was worried but I shouldn't have been. It was Great! The Staff are amazing! It was so funny how they kept shouting in my ear to "Confess" and they gave a friendly nickname to me "Terrorist Scum" The food was good, I am a big fan of dry food and this was the driest food I have ever tasted, it was great! My living quarters were good, although there was a fair amount of vomit on the floor (Most of it was mine). I was awoken by healthy exercises everyday, it was very exciting because you could constantly "Feel the Burn" as you were losing a lot of weight. Everyday the friends staff helped me shower by spraying a hose at me. I was planning on spending only a week there but it was so good I stayed for 4 years! Would defiantly recommend to my friends.

Well strap on a bomb vest and call me a terrorist, this place has it all! You can forget you alarm clock at home because the amazing staff will wake you up on the dot DAILY. That's right its way cheaper than Cancún with much more political tension. You can spend the day in the sun without water or switch it up and tuck yourself inside with nothing but gallons of water being poured down your throat to mimic the experience of being a really bad surfer you'd get in Cali! 5/5 Would visit again.

Got taken there by nice men in black suits, but then they asked me all these funny questions, which I thought odd, and then they took me to the water park, and let me tell you: IT SUCKED. There was no slides except for one where they put a bag on your head and poured water on you, which was just booooooring. Seriously, these guys need to get better attractions or people will start to not come there. Otherwise was pretty good, they were good at keeping me on a sleep schedule and helped me to regain my inner peace. Overall, would recommend, but the food isn't that great and some of the attractions just sad.

While the food was a little dry, the facility as a whole was a great place, they gave us poptarts and Thursday was movie night. Every Tuesday, we went surfboarding, but around the camp we just called it "waterboarding", overall it was a great experience and i'd love to go back.

The experience was truly top notch, there was so much good food to eat that they were LITERALLY FORCING IT DOWN OUR THROATS. the security was excellent, I felt so safe knowing I was being watched at all times, and that I couldn't make a move that wasn't scrutinized. there was also plenty of fencing to keep the well mannered locals and prying eyes away from seeing all the fun activities we took part in, there was water boarding by the beach and 5 minutes in heaven in a room that locked... FROM THE OUTSIDE, it was truly an AWESOME experience, and Im definitely going to stay here any time I'm in cuba

So the question is- what should our response be? We are a viable member of the international community. Granted, we are not free of our own human rights violations, but they pale greatly in comparison. How aggressive are we to be knowing these things?

Obviously, our first response needs to be US leading by example. As long as we torture and murder our enemies, and there's no denying that we do, we are unfit to tell anyone else what not to do.

Presumably North Korean military action or a reasonable expectation thereof is what would draw the US in. Otherwise I think they are happy to let this problem fall on the plate of China, South Korea, and Japan, and perhaps to a lesser extent Russia.
