Another pretty strong division, unfortunately for dino33, I don't vote for teams that haven't made some pick(s). I put too much work into this to justify my picking them, sorry >.< ! It's not personal, just a policy of mine. I'm also voting under the assumption that Monta is healthy by the time playoffs roll around, because playoffs ARE a ways away, and Monta usually manages to stay healthy during the season. Pegs has had two strong teams in the GM Drafts. Good job.
It's a pretty even division really, it could go to pretty much any of them. They all have really good teams, but I think I'll give the edge to L and the Blazers, purely because Chris Paul has the ability to make his team mates that much better.
pegs' team is the best, because of litte frontline depth...although the 3 combo forwards are combo forwards, so they win.
The thing about the Ellis pick though, is that his injury isn't a season ending one. So I can't sit here and assume that he'll be hurt 7 months from now.
Then look at the positions talent-wise: Our guard positions are stellar. Mine is more about playmaking and ball movement. His is more scoring. However, i think Rip's defense is pretty good, and Chris Paul is better than Ellis at everything but scoring. He has a lot of SG depth but my SGs are not exactly pushovers, especially on defense. I tried to specialize a bit with my pg slot. Paul is obviously the leader, Banks is decent on defense and can score a bit(but not shoot), and Quinn is not bad offensively. He has a slight advantage at SF, but emphasize "slight". At the PF slot, my team is better overall. he may have the best PF in the series but Sheed is not bad at all and he can stretch the defense with his shooting. Maxiell is much better than Jeffries at the pf slot. Center position is pretty close, and there is no real clear cut winner here. Anderson can play either the 3 or 4 spots-whichever he is needed at most.
I wasn't trying to put down anyones team or anything else. I'm just saying that with these season beginning injuries, we can't assume that it'll last all season. I only say this because I have Gilbert Arenas on my team and honestly, I personally don't feel that season beginning injuries DO last til playoffs, although some are serious enough. That was it. I don't doubt either of your teams' talents.
I wasnt trying to combat you or anything. i just wanted to put things in a slightly different perspective(positions). my bad.
No worries, I just wanted to bring the whole injury thing to light for everyone else who hasn't voted yet. That's all, I always respect your posts and knowledge
I can't believe a team starting Brandon Rush and Nesterovic is winning this division. I much perfer the Jazz and Thunder's teams.
