Ed, at least I am staying within this millennium! :)

I am not one that endorses fighting, yet I think we all remember Rick Fox. A guy that got under all of our skins. When I saw this happen live years ago, I thought that it was coming to him. He's a cheap-shot expert also, ala Bruce Bowen. You saw what he did to Christie in the video, then claimed innocence.

Rick Fox's bitchery is well documented. At the end of Game 6 in the 2000 WCF against the Blazers, he almost caused a riot with his antics. God watching this is depressing, knowing what would happen a few days later. This series and the Sactown series a couple of years later really made me question the existance of Karma.

Despite what came next, that was an entertaining clip! I forgot Glen Rice played for LA. Fox is an all time douche bag.

I disliked Fox because he carried himself oncourt with a Joe Cool look. His face and posture reminded me of a few tough guys at my high school, which was half-Mexican. He looked for someone to challenge his omnipotent will so he could enjoy a fight. He lacked the usual reasons for such behavior (his age was double a high schooler, and he wasn't barely surviving poverty only through force of will).

Some posters have no experience in this and can't tell the difference between a punk on the offense and a rebel on the defense. Guys like Sheed reacted verbally to the aggression of others. They didn't initiate it. Sheed felt oppressed. When not confronted by authority, he sought friendliness. I'm on his side.

Explaining the difference later to idiots who grew up without siblings, never learned to differentiate motivations behind aggression, and want to arrest all passionate people, is a fine line to define, so I recommend avoiding such situations.

As painful as that game 7 was for us Blazer fans, from a basketball fan's perspective, that was an amazing series.
