They system I like. His pig headed, stubborn desire to go with half-azzzz vets is moronic. You can't freakin tell me not one of our top prospects is ready to make the team. Gimme a break. The dumbazzzz puts a bunch of rookies together on lines and expects them to wow him when other teams are pretty much dressing their regular season lineups.

I have zero desire to see players like Pyatt, Powe and Asham out there. They are not the answer or the direction this team should be going in. I seriously hope we didn't just hire another Renney who never wants to play young players.

I hope I'm wrong but I see problems until Cally and Hags return to this lineup.

Staal looks better than he ever has offensively. I don't understand what AV expects from a line of kids vs. other teams NHL lineups.

They could still re-sign Eminger as the 7th, I don't like Falk even in that limited role. I'd hate to give up on Kreider too early but if you could get a Yandle for he and DZ at the deadline i'd explore it, they really need a true PP QB. It still takes them too long to get the puck from point A to B.

It blows my mind that Pyatt is still on this team. Although he's the one guy who's played for AV before, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Judging by AV's comments last night I think Miller is making the team for sure.

I am just hoping this preseason is a stratagem not used in the regular season!
If not. I am not watching this crap.

Hey 31...its preseason and others are not happy too. Roster currently is flawed. Yes there are some potential in a handfull of rookies but this coach may be uncomfortable playing them. We will see. All I want is fucking wins I don't care who coaches. At some point its the guys on the ice that have to be responsible for their own play.

To me, if you aren't happy with Kreider's consistency with his game or effort, the best place for him to figure it out is at the AHL where he needs to play on the PP and PK unit. Especially, on the PK unit where is speed, reach and size should make him an elite PK player.

That being said, I thought Fast, Miller and Lindberg all looked very good at times verse other teams starting lines for the most part. I didn't like the way they handled McIlrath either. That was moronic. Kid had one bad game and you banished him to the minors. That is not the way you handle young players. They should have given him at least 2 more games to let the kid redeem himself even if they knew he wasn't ready. Putting dumbazzzes out there like Bickel and Falk who clearly have no place on this team for the future is beyond dumb. This coach has a very narrow mind with young players. That is a bad sign early on.
