Has anyone checked out Miles' numbers since he got to Portland? 12.4 PPG on 55% shooting and 67% from the line! Where the hell was this when he was in Cleveland? Anyway, I'm happy with the trade. McInnis has been very protective of the ball and very good at finding his teammates. The only fault he has had so far is that he has not shot the ball particualrly well (that was supposed to be his strong point no?) Just wondering if any of you had been following D.Miles since the deal.
I've been following Davis a bit after the celtics-trade, but not the Miles-trade. I came to that Ricky Davis is doing much better in Celtics!

I mean, his shooting percentages are up across the board but everything else (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks) is down. Plus since the trade, Boston is 11 and 20 since the trade if I'm not mistaken.
Do you know how many minutes Miles is averaging over there? Its nice to see him step his game up. I was always a fan of his, although that may change after I watch the Perfect Score.
Miles seems very comfortable there in Portland. 12 ppg is a huge mid season improvement. With Rasheed gone, there go to man is now Randolph. Miles is now the wingman. Wish that would have happend to us.
It's all about style of play and overall talent in Portland. They have guys who like to push the ball, many options which can mean teams overlook Miles. He fits into that team very well, gets most of his points from fastbreaks started by Stoudamaire and back door cuts. Which is why he is shooting such a high % from the field. At the end of day the Cavs/Blazers trade has really helped both teams. Mainly Lebron.
Yeah, I agree with you allnet, both teams earned on it, espessialy Cavs that got a whole new play style with McInnis on the team!
The Cavaliers gave Darius every opportunity to step it up over the last 2 seasons. His problem was that he was determined to show everyone how much his jump shot improved over the off season. He worked out with some so-called "shot guru" each of the past two off seasons, so maybe that guy was feeding Darius the idea that he's the next Wally World or something. Being traded may have been a wake up call, but it probably won't last past this season. Like KJ suggested, trades can improve a teamplayer over the short term, but not necessarily in the long term.
