Nothing against Israel, but did any one else notice the Israel lovefest during the debate was a little over the top? I'm not saying anything against the Jewish people, or the country of Israel, but the passion with which Sarah Palin expressed support for our countries favorite middle eastern ally seemed a little weird. Biden too expressed strong support for Israel and I have no problem with that. He was very clear about his position. But Palin was almost gushing when she spoke of our allegiance with Israel, and has said she has an Israeli flag in her office. I wonder if there are any other governors that have flags of other nations in their offices?
^ Of course there are, for example in my country (Kosovo, or lets say Albania, the neighbouring country) both the president and prime minister have the US flag, the EU flag, some have the German flag as well, together with the country's own flag. It shows respect and an alliance to that country. Nothing wrong with that. Israel is a great ally of the US and we need to do everything in our power to keep them powerful in the middle east.
Before we overthrew Saddam, Israel was the only democracy in the Middle East. They have been our stalwart ally through thick and thin in that region and we should support them wholeheartedly. Sadly, I don't think Sen. Obama supports Israel with the same fervor as does Sen. Biden.
You're using the F word a bit too much don't you think Rizzle? I'm offended by that comment, but it'll be up to you if you want to take it back.
Am I using too often recently? Ill try to cut back. But no Im not taking that comment back at all. Ive been to Israel and I stand by my statement. Please do not interpret it as me hating all Jews because that is not the case at all, just Israel.
