Waitaminnit! Reading the threads over the summer, I thought the official board policy for Rudy was that we WANT him, his attitude, lackluster play, etc. gone. Now that he is out, there is dismay???? You're putting me through too many changes. Gramps...
I never heard any news about this last night on the TNT broadcast. Anyone else? I kept waiting for some explanation of why Fernandez wasn't playing, and never heard it.
At some point doesn't this stop being bad luck and start being about something the team's training staff is doing wrong? Seems to me it's time to make a change.
Unless there is some sort of gross negligence (which we have zero awareness of btw), probably no. However frustrating injuries might be to fans, the medical/training staff shouldn't be judged like the ticket sales staff not hitting their quota. While it's understandable that fans are frustrated, I find a statement like this to be head-shaking as us fans truly don't know shit about the team's medical/training staff... nor should we based on the too many cooks in the kitchen ethos. We don't know names of their med/training staff, the size of the personnel, how much turnover/change on the staff etc etc... I'm going to trust that the Blazer brass realizes the importance of having healthy players, and are overseeing matters as best they can STOMP
But that's only fair, because the team's medical/training staff clearly knows little about doing their job effectively. And you can't even disagree with that as conjecture, because the proof is in the pudding!
