Following a series of meetings the Nevada State Athletic Commission has made two rule changes. The first is the addition of instant replay. Here is the official wording of that rule change: So we're talking about a fight-ending scenario such as an eye-poke (Kevin Burns vs. Anthony Johnson 1), not something mid-fight, as far as I know. The "BJ Penn Rule" allows the referee to call a foul on a fighter found using an illegal substance on their body. I don't know how this rule has changed--I was under the impression this was already a rule (Roger Huerta vs. Melvin Guillard). But whatever.
